October 2017

Slowly October starts to feel and look like fall...slowly.
Sometimes summer lingers and I continue to sweat when strolling casually to the mailbox.
However, despite the weather I put up our fall decorations and pull out the autumn scents and relish in this favorite season of mine!
This is what our October looked like this year.

Celebrating The Big Man's birthday!

Friday night football continued and Sam was Defensive Player of the game vs our cross town rival! The game was televised and the boys were interviewed after the game.
So proud of Sam he had an amazing game....and only a sophomore!

PC soccer continued...and ended. Not a good season for the Bluehose

Games are always streamed live so if we can't make the games we can catch them via streaming
Last home game and Senior night at PC.

Middle School Cross Country finished strong with both the boys and girls teams winning the league!

Jaida made huge improvements to her time and ended up placing 17th in the all area meet!

Xin won the Cavalier Award voted by his teammates!
So proud of these two!
As their coach said, "What we do in our sport is a punishment for all other sports"
Lots of hard work and HOT runs.

Some precious sister time playing outside.

5th Grade Science Fair
The best part of this is that it is ALL done at school. ALL DONE AT SCHOOL!!!!!

We made it to the state playoffs but lost in the first round
Julia surprised Sam and made it to this last game.

A sad night as they had a great team and a great bunch of talented Seniors that had been with the program since the start, as 5th graders.

Halloween parade at school

Jaida and her friend won best group costume...they were the only ones who participated in the category! Ha Ha Ha

Pumpkin carving time

Love that my big girl wants to come home to join in on the festivities.

Big Kids pumpkin

Little Kids pumpkin
Xin did the eyes, Lulu the nose and Jaida the mouth

Dissecting the "loot"
Love love  love the month of October!
