We always celebrate America's birthday at my parents house on Lake Oconee with cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents.

We escaped the 108+ degree heat by heading south to Florida where the heat index was a much more enjoyable 100!

Our "Happy Place" did not disappoint as usual!

A good time was had by all!

Reading, Boogie Boarding, Swimming, Running, World Cup watching, Eating, Celebrating Father's Day, Sand Castle Building, Sharks Tooth Hunting (the girls may have won the annual contest), Card Playing, Alligator Watching and time just spent together
